Mr. de Bokay possesses a cornucopia of business and creative film industry knowledge and experience. Through deep and penetrating insight into the inner workings of the film industry, he uses his passion and dedication to realize the dreams and visions of independent filmmakers. With over 30 years of experience in both the film industry and the marketing and advertising agency worlds, he draws on his expertise in the fields of entertainment as well as consumer marketing, branding and media placement. He distributed and marketed over 500 films, brands and properties, implemented local and worldwide campaigns with global advertising budget in excess of $1 Billion. During his career, Mr. de Bokay ran his own business and directed a global marketing consultancy in Los Angeles and Paris, creating an extensive network of relations with studios, producers, distributors and sales companies. He also dedicates his time teaching in various universities and seminars focusing on the economics and business behind the scenes: From film packaging and financing, marketing and publicity to distribution and new media with a special look at the Studios vs. Independents as well as film preservation. Patrick de Bokay received his MBA, majors in marketing and international business from the University of Paris IX Dauphine and has completed a PhD program on worldwideconsumer-branding.
